Showing up consistently & authentically holds power with underrepresented groups: 50% of Black Americans think most brands use social marketing to performatively to display allyship. LGBTQ+ communities are critical of brands who only seem show up during Pride month. It is essential that the #SeenOnPixel message is consistent.

Idea

Pixel Uncovers is our ongoing franchise to activate the #SeenOnPixel platform in media. Each activation uncovers powerful and underrepresented stories and talents, marrying relevant editorials with rising creatives and photographers.In Q3 we drove consistent awareness by highlighting intersectionality within LGBTQ+, Black+ and LatinX communities. We also partnered with & invested in endemic pubs who have long given voice to these communities to shine light on their unique perspectives via Pixel’s inclusive lens.

Why this matters

Connecting with communities in insightful and authentic ways is key to drive success and can be mutually beneficial to the brand and the community. Additionally, building on an existing program can be more powerful and efficient than launching one-offs.
